For the global traveler in you, we’ve compiled a list of 5 EDM festivals to check out, spanning three continents and four countries, we hope you make it to at least one!

Tomorrowland

In terms of a complete audiovisual experience, few festivals can even rival this yearly party held in Boom, Belgium. Always attracting the best and brightest of dance music, Tomorrowland is one of those places a serious any EDM fan has to check out. With a list of past performers that can put most events to shame, the Belgian festival is poised to keep its string of success going in 2017 and beyond. This year, Tomorrowland will feature sets from Marshmello, Steve Aoki and Tiësto, just to name a few. Make your pilgrimage to Antwerp for the experience of a lifetime.


Ultra

Since LED Shoe Source is based out of South Florida, we might be a little biased here but we absolutely love Ultra Music Festival. Having featured acts like Afrojack, Alesso and Avicii, this music festival is held yearly in beautiful, downtown Miami, Florida amongst the palm trees and beautiful beaches. Just a few months ago, the festival featured Major Lazer, Cypress Hill and Ice Cube on the same bill. What more could you ask for?


Sunburn


Asia’s biggest festival, held for the past ten years in Goa, India, Sunburn attracts performers and audiences from all over the globe. A true testament to the popularity of dance music around the world, this festival boasts attendance numbers in the tens of thousands and, having partnered with venues nearby, is a truly twenty four hour festival. The 2015 edition of Sunburn featured David Guetta and KYGO and drew fans from over 40+ nations. Pack your bags and get ready for Sunburn Music Festival held during the end of December.


Sónar

Barcelona is widely regarded as one of the most alluring cities in the world and Sonar Festival gives you yet another excuse to go experience the place for yourself. Now going on its 24gh year, Sonar attracted over 100,000 attendees from 100 countries for its 2016 edition, making it one of the most storied parties in dance music. Split into two parts, Sonar by Day and Sonar by Night, this festival combines electronic music, multimedia art, technology and business for three days of fun in the sun.



EDC

By now, you’ve probably been to Vegas for Electric Daisy Carnival. If not, chances are you know someone who has. The biggest festival outside of Europe, EDC brings people from all over the world to Las Vegas for an audiovisual experience they’re not likely to forget. This year, Vegas Motor Speedway will play host to sets from Afrojack, Trippy Turtle, Zedd and even an exclusive B2B from Alison Wonderland, Diplo and Jauz.
